How CD Valet Makes Money
While our Service is provided to consumers free of charge, CD Valet is paid for use of the Service in two ways. First, if you click on certain financial institution links, we may be paid a commission. Second, financial institutions that utilize CD Valet’s digital account opening and lead generation services compensate us for these services. The first results you see when using search and filter features are based on our discretion to present rates that we think are most relevant, and these results may be based on factors such as the rate offered, account opening options, and location. While we do not allow financial institutions to pay for favorable placement of their rates, we may promote rates that allow you to initiate a new account opening from CD Valet, and those may not always be the highest rates available. The compensation that we receive does not influence whether a product is included on CD Valet.
